23 years ago. By playing games and by solving (and sometimes mailing) problems.

I usually played at Kyoto Renju club. I have also played at Hanshin and Johsai clubs.

3.Which are your best results in national and international tournaments (Usual tournaments and e-mail tournaments). Which is your international rating for the moment?

I won at the 5th World Championship, 1997. I was a Meijin of 36th Meijinsen tournament in Japan,1996. My present rating is 2656.
