1.When did you start to play renju and how did you learn it? How many years have you played renju?

I started playing renju 22 years ago. I was introduced my teacher at junior high school. However,I stopped renju during 17-19 years old.

2.Do you play in a club? In which clubs have you played?

Until 17 years old, I belonged to the club of my home town, Nagoya (Tokai renju club). After 19, I belonged to Kyoto renju association.

3.Which are your best results in national and international tournaments (Usual tournaments and e-mail tournaments). Which is your international rating for the moment?

I became Meijin twice, World Champion once. My latest rating is 2735.

4.Which is the best player you have met?

Shigeru Nakamura

5.Can you explain why you enjoy renju?

6.Which is your plans for the future as a player?

I wohld like to be a Meijin again!
