My name is Tunnet Taimla. I am Estonian, male, 11 years old.

1. When did you start to play renju and how did you learn it? How many years have you played renju?

I have played renju for 4 and a half years. I wanted to start to practice draughts at first, but when I came to the mental games' class at Kullo (Tallinn) I got aquainted with renju. At first I was not so impressed of the game, but after a year I became keen on it. The change of mind was due to the success - I remember having some good results. In the second study-year I became a star among new players in the class. I experienced a big time, when I got the 9th Kyu.

2.Do you play in a club? In which clubs have you played?

I play in the Tallinn Renju Club

3.Which are your best results in national and international tournaments (Usual tournaments and e-mail tournaments). Which is your international rating for the moment?

a) I was the 3rd in the Estonian QT for WC in 1999.

On international level:

b) Youth (up to age 14) European Champion 1999

My international rating at present is 2197

4.Who is the best player you have met?

Ando Meritee and Ants Soosõrv

5.Can you explain why you enjoy renju?

There are many sides. I like the game itself. It has nice rules, it is exciting.

I enjoy renju because I am doing well in the game also.

6.Which is your plans for the future as a player?

My aim is to get the possibility to play in the European Championship in 2000.

Generally I would like to participate in as many tournaments as possible and play with many strong players.
