There are three encyclopedias, collections of games, in renju.
1. Renbase from Alexander Nosovsky. This program you can get for DOS or for Windows 3.1 and you can print with this program. You can buy many different files with games for this program. For example via e-mail you can also subscribe on new files from the latest tournaments to be used by this program.
You can download shareware Renbase for DOS. Test the program 30 days and then pay the little fee 5 US $ if you want to go on using it.
The new version Renbase 4.0 for Windows 95 and Windows NT is very nice.

2. Database from Olep Stepanov from Russia. Version called "Renju Tools 6.08", which also includes a playing program, has 19 290 games in a DOS-program including for example all Japanese Meijin-finals since 1962. You can download A free version with 3559 games played by strong players. After installing the program press F1, F8, F3 and browse with the arrrow keys between the games.
You can also download readme-e.com which is not a file to open in a program but a little DOS-program (7 kb) with instructions how to use all Database 5.x programs. Especially this file is important for beginners that have never used Database.
Via e-mail you can subscribe on new games from the latest tournaments. Then you
subscribe on new versions of the program including new games. The price is 100 US $ and
the fee for subscription is 5$ a month. It is easy to search for a special opening, a

3. The Encyclopediae in paper form. It contains a lot of games mainly from The Renju Sekai with a start 1976. This is not updated with new games from about the latest 3-4 years. Often you cannot see which was the players in a game. It is about 10 000 games.
It is possible to buy parts of the paper Encyclopediae from me. You are also able to buy "ROC" i.e. the principals for sorting the games in English. The price for ROC is SEK 20.

If you buy the whole encyclopedia including ROC the price is SEK 450. The total weight is about 4kg. You always have to pay for the freight.
