Short info about Renju
Renju is the professional variant of Go-Moku (In Swedish: luffarschack) and uses more sophisticated rules. Actually the official word renju for our game (instead of go-moku) was 100 years old in December 1999. In renju the black player (the beginner of a game) is not allowed to make double-threes, double-fours or more than five in a row. Renju also uses sophisticated opening rules. Renju International Federation (RIF) was founded on August, 8 ,1988. The RIF Web site with much info about renju is of course primarily for renju but it also covers other five-in-a-row games, such as, free-played Go-Moku, Five-In-A-Row and Pente. All RIF renju news are first published in Renju (Electronic) Newsletter via e-mail. (The letters are usually at the same time published on a special Renju Newsletter site.)
Renju Newsletter is not the only Renju Magazine on the Internet. On the RIF Web site you will find more magazines for example the Swedish Magazine "Fem i Rad".
Renju Newsletter via e-mail is free-of-charge. If you wish to receive a free subscribtion to the Renju Electronic Newsletter, please, subscribe below. Below you can also unsubscribe if your are no longer interested to subscribe or if you have changed your address and if you want to take away the old address and make a new subscription to the new address.
